Beckley Foundation Drug Policy Programme
This programme is a partnership between the Beckley Foundation (a charitable trust set up to promote the investigation of consciousness and the science of drug use) and DrugScope. It promotes consideration of drugs policy at the international level.

DrugScope is a leading centre of expertise on drugs, whose aim is to inform policy development and reduce drug-related risk. It incorporates a wide-ranging library service.

This is the cross-government drugs strategy website, run from the Home Office. It has extensive links to other organisations and resources - regional, national, European and worldwide.
GLADA
The Greater London Alcohol and Drugs Alliance brings together community representatives, parent groups, users, with statutory bodies and London-wide organisations to develop better ways of dealing with alcohol and drug problems in London. GLADA agrees an annual programme of action to address London-wide priorities. Its members come together to:
- co-ordinate policy and commissioning
- tackle London-wide issues
- be a voice for London
- ensure that London derives maximum benefit from all national and international initiatives
- collectively deliver a work programme of agreed London priorities

This programme is one of the few sources of independent research into drugs issues.

London Drug Policy Forum
LDPF assists, supports and advises policy makers on drug issues affecting the capital, and works with the London Boroughs, Drug Action Teams, Health Authorities, drug agencies and Government Departments to promote good practice on education and prevention, community safety and improving services for drug users.
The Senlis Council
The Senlis Council, established in 2002, is an international drug policy think tank which gathers expertise and facilitates new initiatives on global drug policy.

This website acts as a portal for up-to-date worldwide information on substance misuse, the problems it creates and the ways to deal with these problems.
Release
Release provides advice on drugs and the law to drug users, their families, friends, and statutory and voluntary agencies, with the aim of promoting understanding of drug-related issues and supporting an often marginalised section of society.

Transform is a charitable think tank campaigning against drug prohibition as the major cause of drug-related harm to individuals, communities and nations, and arguing that it should be replaced by effective, just and humane government control and regulation.

Addaction is a leading UK charity working solely in the field of drug and alcohol treatment.
Clouds
Clouds offers help, hope and freedom from drug and alcohol dependency. At Clouds House, the charity approaches addiction from the viewpoint that it is a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual illness which, if not treated will, in many cases lead to premature death. Treatment addresses all the dimensions of the illness.
Chemical Dependency Centre
The Chemical Dependency Centre aims to improve the lives of people affected by alcohol or drug dependency by providing high quality, abstinence-based treatment options which integrate 12-step recovery programmes and other appropriate therapies.

Cranstoun aims to be the first choice drugs agency in the UK for people with drug and alcohol problems; for purchasers and commissioners; for policy and decision makers and for staff.
Nelson Trust
The Nelson Trust provides care and support for people recovering from drug and alcohol addiction, or eating disorders. Based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, the Trust offers a complete, integrated, abstinence-based programme of care, supporting people through treatment all the way to full rehabilitation.

Phoenix House is a national charity providing specialist treatment services for drug and alcohol users across the United Kingdom who have a long history of problematic substance abuse and who often feel socially excluded from the community in which they live.
RAPt
The Rehabilitation for Addicted Prisoners Trust runs a prison-based 12-step treatment programme and a range of support services both inside and outside the prison system.

Turning Point is a leading social care organisation providing services for people with complex needs, including those affected by alcohol and drug misuse, mental health problems and those with a learning disability.
Education
Blueprint
Blueprint, a joint project from the Home Office, Department of Health and DfES, is the largest research programme ever run in this country to find out what works in teaching young people about drugs and drug use. Results of the research will be used to inform the development of drug education in England and build the worldwide evidence base.
